I had two very badly injured knees. Right from the start he looked at the whole person and not just the knees. He has got such a lot of common sense and he wants to make it right. I would sincerely like you to tell him for all the good he has done for me.Carol Smith
All of the staff were fantastic! The care I received was impeccable. Great place!Louise Farmer
I had been experiencing low back pain that was curtailing my daily exercise regime. Steve’s skill, patience and kindness brought about a great improvement. At the end of his treatment I was not only able to resume full exercising, but even to extend my regime. Very many thanks!Mike Saxby
The treatment I received from Steve at Midland Shockwave & Physiotherapy Clinic was excellent! He was friendly, understanding and reassuring of my condition and helped me get back to normal mobility.Glen Eager
Steve helped my severe lower back pain and disturbed pelvic posture; in just 5 sessions I noticed big improvement. His recommended exercises continue to help me and I definitely recommend his sessions.Amit Jain
As a family we have had 2 positive experiences of Steve Hakner as a physiotherapist. Both my elderly mother and myself have been treated by him. My mum for back problems and myself whilst recovering from major foot surgery. He is trustworthy and efficient and to be highly recommended. His excellent people skills also have to be mentioned. In my friendship circle, such a person would be described as a 'good egg'. Damn good at his job and a physiotherapy angel on this earth! Thanks a million SteveFranz Dennenmoser
Great service. I had really bad tennis/golfers/ tendinitis. I had some shock wave treatment and after about 4 weeks it went away. 2 months later I'm pain free still!Anthony Pears
I’ve been for several physio sessions now @ shockwave physiotherapy and am pleased to say it’s probably been the best progress any clinic has ever made in fixing my shoulder pain. I would 100% recommend Steve and the team there, professional, informative and flexible with appointments. Also the clinic is both modern & completely geared up for Covid safety. Definitely worth booking in a consultation to see how the team can help you.Kat Willis
I went to see Steven a few months ago in Lockdown for some very much needed treatment on my ankle. I took my chances after googling for shockwave therapies and Steve was more than helpful over the phone on an initial phone conversation and instantly put me at ease. Whilst attending treatment sessions, Steven was very tentative to my issues and always provided treatment in a safe and professional manner and always very friendly and caring. He was always very flexible with timings to fit in my schedule which allowed me to complete my treatment fully.Ravi Parmar
I used a number of Physiotherapists after my Total Knee Replacement, before I managed to find Steve Hakner and I will never go anywhere else. He is extremely knowledgeable, helpful and caring. Taking the time to explain all that was going on inside with my new knee to put my mind at ease. He went through various exercises for me to also try at home which helped immensely. After every session my range of motion improved as did any discomfort I sometimes had. Ease of appointments and face to face meetings during Coronavirus was also very easy and comfortable. I would highly recommend Steve and all the team for their help, efficiency and value too. Thank you Steve.Julie Baker
I have been attending physio with Steve following my shoulder surgery and the personalised care and recovery plan he has provided has been exemplary! Steve is extremely knowledgable and whilst lockdown created its own problems with face to face appointments, Steve was at the end of the phone checking in with me on my recovery. I would highly recommend Midlands Shockwave and Physiotherapy Clinic.Stephanie Anker
Having suffered a serious knee injury skiing late January, I was recommended to Midlands Shockwave by my surgeon. No surgery could take place due to COVID 19 so physio started albeit for a short while before lockdown. With a huge mountain to climb I had treatment to help reduce the swelling as a result of a ruptured cruciate. Exercises were included and during lockdown Steve provided me with an online routine. I was able to contact him throughout lockdown which I did and he was always there to respond to texts or messages and supported me throughout at a time when hospitals were to be avoided. It was great to get back to physical physio - but as a result I can now walk and play golf which I was told wouldn’t happen until 2021! Oh and still no surgery - great result. Thank youJilly Cosgrove
I had shockwave treatment for acute pain in the foot called plantar fasciitis. The treatment healed the condition in 4 treatments. Highly recommend this non invasive treatment.David Stanley
